this reminds me of when my sister and i rode bicycles in amsterdam….it started raining and we got lost, but kept going….its so beautiful when it rains in the summer that even though we were drenched by the time we got home, we were happy.

that evening i think we had pannekoeken.

Its weird how i can remember so much about being 9 years old but i have completely forgotten about the years between 11 and 18…they are a blur of medication, awkwardness, forced rehabilitation only for me to relapse again slowly for the past 4 years.

But I think its better that the last clear memories I have from my adolescence are pre-puberty, in europe.

puberty is like the chrysalis period…painful and best forgotten once you are fully formed.
